Allergy is characterized by a sensitivity level that is usually higher than normal to specific substances called allergens. These allergens spark a response in vulnerable individuals and enter the body through numerous routes such as ingestion, inhalation, injection and skin contact.

Green tea: This common table tea has a natural antihistamine. Drink one or two cups a day and sweeten with honey. You can also use black tea, since it is from the same plant as green tea, but it isn't as effective.
Honey: Make sure you purchase local honey. Use it to sweeten teas, or a small amount of it plain. Local honey can help you became resistant to certain pollens. The beneficial qualities of honey are lost, however, when it is cooked.
Dermatitis – This is the skin allergy which is caused due to contact with some substances. It is shown as an inflammation.
Hives – Hives is a fluid accumulation in the skin which shows up as a swelling. This is a temporary condition and heals with treatment. Hives are also known as urticaria.
Prickly Heat – This is a red rash which occurs on the body. Prickly heat is generally caused due to excessive perspiration due to hot and humid climates.
Apply a moisturizer to hydrate your skin externally. A homemade moisturizer is a mixture of cucumber, juice and buttermilk.
Go for an exfoliation once a fortnight either at a professional salon, or at home. It helps remove dead cells and revitalize the skin through blood circulation. Oatmeal combined with mashed apple is an excellent home scrub
Do not forget to apply sunscreen with a SPF of minimum 15 at least 10 minutes before going out of house. If you get a suntan, relieve yourself with a mixture of curd and cucumber juice.
Bathing in warm water is one of the better treatment options. Be sure that the water is not too hot, because this will irate the affected area. It's best to use unscented soap. Afterwards pat the skin dry and apply moisturizer to the affected area. This will keep your skin hydrated.
Even though the rash may be itchy, try to avoid scratching as much as possible. This may be hard because the rash may itch. In order to do this, you should make sure your finger nails are trimmed. At night you can also wear cotton gloves and socks. This will help prevent scratching in your sleep.
You will definitely enjoy having apple pies in despite that you are having an allergy particularly hay fever. Pollen count varies in certain period of time and makes you feel sick when you are going outdoors. Apples and onions contain quercetin in which inhibits the release of histamine that triggers the immune response.
Vegetable and fruit salads are one of the best remedy of all allergies as both of it contain antioxidant that has anti-inflammatory properties that could boost your immune system.
