** THE TV **
------------------
It's a stylish black TV, with a sliver trim at the base, and inside the chassis sits a digital tuner, plus it squeezes in two loud speakers on either side of the screen and a couple of base units at it's base and the trusty Viera colour-management system. There's also an SD card slot.
When a HDMI DVD player is hooked up to the HDMI socket on the TV it delivers the 'blackest' blacks and manages to pick out excellent levels of detail from even the darkest of movie scenes, which is helped by very good contrast. This TV exposes dark details overlooked by many HD ready TVs out there. This is the case whether you're using the HDMI socket or component or even the scart. Even with pacier movies the Viera displays its prowess with fast movement. The TV's speaker system also delivers breath-taking clear sounds, which give a surround sound quality.
The built in digital TV-tuner is also excellent and gives crisp images when hooked up to an aerial cable (remember the analogue signal will be turned off in a couple of years time). An added bonus is the ability to hook up your PC or laptop to the TV. The TV then acts like another monitor screen.
This TV also allows you to look at still images in full Hi-Def glory. Using the SD slot, you scan insert an SD card and hit the image button on the remote control. The TV will then do a slide show or what ever you want.

** PRICE **
---------------
Prices for this TV range from £1000 upwards, although there are now newer models of this TV available. The TV also offers 'picture-in-picture', picture-out-of-picture' and picture-and-picture', via a nice looking remote control, which is very user friendly.

** MY OPINION **
-------------------------
I brought this TV over a year ago. I have to say in all honesty, it’s the best purchase I’ve ever made bar none. The stand was very easy to attach to the underside of the TV, it just clicks in place. The TV is quite heavy so you may need a hand to lift it into place. Connecting the cables to the back of the TV was also very easy. Just unclip the protective cover that hides all the sockets and plug in the cables you require. Once you’ve finished the cover clips back into place making everything look really neat.
This TV has worked without any problems for me and it still looks as good as the day I brought it. The picture is sharp and the sound excellent. I use the PAP (Picture And Picture) quite a bit and the image still remains crystal clear.
When buying a TV make sure you but one that is the correct size for your living room. When I saw this 32 inch LCD TV at Comet, it looked small, but I was told a word of advice. In the showroom which is massive, the TVs look small, but when people take them back home and put them in their living rooms, they complain that the TV is too big for the room, so bear this in mind.
5 out of 5 stars for a superb hi-def television.
